Construction Industry Training Centre (CITC)
The Construction Industry Training Centre Incorporated (CITC) was established in 1994 as a not for profit Registered Training Organisation (RTO Code 0647) to fill an educational gap that then existed by providing upskilling of the traditional trades and non-trades employees in industry and those wishing to be engaged in industry.
With over 20 trainers available, we specialise in areas as diverse as high risk work licensing, asbestos, confined space, white card, certificate IV in WH&S, plant operation, work safely at heights, workzone traffic management, and many more.
Training is delivered on clients' sites or at our purpose-built training centre in Regency Park which has 19 training rooms with over 7,500m2 under the main roof and is considered one of the best training centres in Australia.
The CITC has enjoyed continual growth over the past years mainly due to the provision of quality job relevant training outcomes and we are the major provider to the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) for the upskilling of the industry workforce.
The CITC’s decision to partner with MATES in Construction was an easy one to make and we are determined to play our part in eliminating the prevalence of suicide and mental health illness in the construction industry. We are committed to assisting MATES in Construction to ensure that individuals have to access to assistance where these issues may or have impacted those in the industry.
