WHY MATES in energy EXISTS

Research has indicated a decrease in suicide rates since the inception
of MATES in Construction in QLD when compared to other states that had
not yet adopted the program. MATES in Energy is now approaching
10,000 people who have been general awareness trained, opening
discussion and reducing stigma, enabling workers to offer help to others.
