Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) is a two-day interactive workshop in suicide first-aid that teaches you how to recognise when someone may be at risk of suicide and how to work with them to create a plan that will support their immediate safety. ASIST workers can be compared to the first aid officer on site.

ASIST is an internationally certified and recognised training and is considered the best practice when it comes to suicide intervention programs.

Anyone 16 and over is eligible to register for this training session, and no prerequisites are required.

The course is NO COST for MATES in Energy & Mining partner employees

otherwise the course costs $330 for community members or construction industry workers

PLEASE NOTE: This is a two-day workshop, and you MUST be present for both days.

There are limited numbers for this training, so register now to secure your place.
