WHAT IS A CONNECTOR?
- A MATE who looks out for their workmates.
- The go-to when someone needs to talk because things are getting tough.
- The one that a mate goes to when their workmate isn't themselves.
- Someone who's trained to spot the signs that someone is struggling and connect them to help.
This half-day awareness workshop equips anyone above 16 years old, with or without prior experience or training, to be a suicide alert helper. MATES Connectors can be recognised by their green sticker.
*Registration will close at the end of business hours on the 10th of March to allow adequate time for planning and securing resources. The workshop will be canceled if the minimum number of participants is not met.
