Working with some of the biggest names and for multinational construction and infrastructure providers such as Lend Lease, Hutchinson Builders and Brookfield Multiplex among others. Kohinor also servicers many smaller residential builders and projects. Kohinor delivers outstanding service backed by their high-level technical skills and knowledge base.

Managing director Steve Harris has more than 30 years’ experience in the industry and leads a workforce of 60 – 80 highly trained employees, including a managerial team of seven. Kohinor boasts a family-orientated workforce that pride themselves on longevity. Steve’s two sons are both leading hands within the company and his daughter manages the busy office. Many of the team have been with Kohinor since the company’s inception and today, many father and son teams are present within the workforce. This is a testament to the company where quality of work and safety are paramount in all aspects of the organisation alongside a high regard and respect for all those employed.

Steve Harris became aware of MIC while working on a project in Barangaroo, he liked the concept of ‘looking after your mates’ and said it resonated with him. He said all guys have personal issues from time to time and that Kohinor always aims to help wherever possible, he believes it’s the reason behind the longevity of his workforce.
