Simon Tyler

Simon Tyler (B. Psych. Sci. (Hons), MS. Psychology) is a PhD Candidate for the University of South Australia’s Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Research Group (Division of Health Sciences). He is also the recipient of the Inaugural Allison Milner Memorial Fund Scholarship with his work aimed at furthering understanding of the nature and drivers of suicide in the construction industry. Simon is a registered psychologist whose clinical work focuses on supporting men experiencing mental health and suicidal challenges. Simon spent ten years working in the construction industry before turning his focus to helping others and this industry engagement is a major aspect of why he undertakes the work he does.
