Team Administrator – Adelaide
MATES in Construction has a vacancy for a Team Administrator to commence as soon as possible. The position is based in Adelaide reporting to the Marketing and Business Development Manager.
The Team Administrator’s role is to support all SA Field Officers and Case Managers and provide marketing and admin support to the business. This position requires the candidate to build professional relationships with workers from the building and construction industry, employers, unions, key stakeholders and community services.
The organisation walks alongside individuals and/or worksites to engage and build rapport, to initiate conversation, and to identify and address concerns relating to mental health and/or suicide thoughts or suicide grief. In this role, you will support the Field Officers and Case Managers and have the opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of workers. It is both rewarding and challenging.
FIELD OFFICER – Adelaide
MATES in Construction SA have a vacancy for a Field Officer to commence as soon as possible. The position is based in Adelaide but will require significant regional travel.
The key purpose of the Field Officer role is to create opportunities for conversation, education and advocacy for workers who may be struggling with mental health concerns and issues of hardship and to create effective referral pathways with relevant services. This is generally done through training, site visits and providing pathways to help and support.
This role walks alongside individuals and/or worksites to engage and build rapport, to initiate conversation, and to identify and address concerns relating to mental health and/or suicide thoughts or suicide grief.
